Services Provided

We provide more than just a beautiful smile. Through our team of family dental experts and modern technology, we offer a variety of specialty and general dentistry services. We take great care to accommodate all of our patients by providing the following services:

Teeth Cleaning - Good oral hygiene starts with regular dental cleanings. Regular teeth cleaning helps remove plaque and tartar build-up, which contribute to periodontal disease. We recommend all patients schedule this 45-minute appointment twice each year.

Preventative Care - We work with you to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. We believe in a collaborate approach with the patient to create an effective preventive program that defends against dental diseases and conditions.

Pediatric Care - We love to work with children! Our child friendly environment is designed to enhance your family dental visit. We are committed to delivering fun and caring dental experiences for children.

Fillings - We provide restoration of tooth structure with metal, porcelain or resin materials. We will take care of you and your family's cavities by using the most current technology available for fillings.

Silver Filling Replacement - We offer mercury-free fillings and replacements for those patients who prefer this option. Porcelain and composite resin tooth-colored restorations are not only beautiful, but also add strength to weakened teeth.

Teeth Whitening - Teeth Whitening is an easy and affordable process that can eliminate stains and discoloration to restore a beautiful smile.

Dental X-Rays - Our office uses digital x-rays. Compared to conventional dental x-rays, your radiation exposure is reduced by approximately 75%. Digital dental x-rays are an essential diagnostic tool that provides valuable information to help us evaluate your oral health. We can look at what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums to identify any potential problems and create an individualized dental treatment plan.

Crowns - A crown is a cap that is designed to be placed over a tooth to restore its strength and improve its appearance. A crown may be needed for traumatic fractures, wear due to teeth grinding, tooth decay, cracked fillings, cracked teeth, and root canals.

Cosmetic Veneers - Dr. Kemp has over 25 years of experience in transforming smiles with veneers. A confident smile is one of the basic building blocks to developing relationships and emotional well being. Porcelain veneers are the most esthetic restoration dentists provide for creating beautiful, confident smiles. They are wear and stain resistant, natural and life-like. Veneers can change the shape, size, and color of your teeth, as well as, align crooked teeth, fill in gaps, and cover defects (chipping, wear, and discolorations). Veneers have disadvantages. Although minimal tooth preparation is required, we must irreversibly alter your teeth to make veneers look natural. If you have defective fillings, they will need to be replaced before placing veneers over them, adding to cost. If you are wanting to achieve significant whitening, you may be required to bleach your teeth before veneer fabrication (veneers are translucent and dark areas of tooth structure can shine through). Last, but not least, porcelain veneers are expensive (each is equivalent to the cost of a crown, and we typically do 6-10 veneers/ case). As part of the initial consultation process, Dr. Kemp will perform a 'mock-up' with temporary material on your natural unprepared teeth, so you can get an idea of how the final veneers will enhance your smile. No pressure. You can then decide if veneers are right for you. If you're interested in looking at improving your smile, call to schedule a cosmetic veneer consultation appointment.

Dental Bridges - If you have a missing tooth, a dental bridge can fill the gap in your smile. Bridges resemble natural teeth, and are designed to take the place of areas where teeth are missing.

Extractions - When a tooth is beyond repair, tooth extraction helps to sustain and preserve the health of your gums and bone. A failed tooth can be caused by an unsuccessful root canal, periodontal disease, or extensive tooth decay, in which case an extraction can bring relief.

Implant Restorations - This is now the standard of care for tooth replacement. Whether you need to replace a single tooth, several teeth, or all your teeth, dental implants can improve your quality of life. They're easy to care for and no need for messy adhesives.  Dental implants help to preserve natural facial contours by preventing oral bone loss.  They're designed to offer better health by improving your ability to chew and giving you the ability to enjoy the foods you love. Better nutrition is always a good thing and 'you are what you eat'.  If all you can eat is 'mush', you'll turn to 'mush'.  Dental implants also give you greater self-confidence. They look and feel like natural teeth. Dr. Kemp and his staff are experienced in helping patients restore their confidence, function, and smiles. Most patients are candidates for dental implants. To determine if implants are the right solution for you, call our office to schedule an implant consultation appointment.

Complete and Partial Dentures - A good, cost effective way to replace missing teeth. A complete denture is a removable appliance that replaces all teeth in your upper or lower jaw.  A partial denture is a removable appliance that is held in place by clasps that fit around some of the remaining teeth.
